UTMB’s Institute for Translational Sciences (ITS), the Greater Gulf Coast Translational Science Alliance (GGCTSA), and the Sealy Center for Environmental Health & Medicine invite you to participate in a conversation on Beyond the Petri Dish: Exploring Organ-on-a-Chip for Research and Innovation. 

Location: MOD Coffeehouse, 2126 Post Office St., Galveston

Date/Time: Wednesday, August 13, 2025;  5:30-6:30pm

This conversation features Lauren Richardson, PhD, Assistant Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology, UTMB; Elvis Cuevas,  PhD, Assistant Professor, Mitchell Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, Department of Neurology, UTMB; Ran An, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Houston; and Ananth Kumar Kammala, PhD, Assistant Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology, UTMB. 

Please join us as we explore and discuss the current knowledge and research related to organs on a chip.
