The January 2025 session of UTMB's BrainForward ECHO series focused on overcoming the stigma associated with substance use disorder in primary care. Dr. Ernst J. Nicanord, MD, Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, discussed the consequences of SUD stigma in primary care and provided strategies to destigmatize clinician practice.
