Mentor: Dr. Dennis Bente
Megan
is interested in tick-host-pathogen interactions, and her research is
focused on different vaccine development strategies for Crimean-Congo
Hemorrhagic Fever virus (CCHFV) and its tick vector. Megan earned a
Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Georgia Southern University
in 2017, where her research focused on intracellular bacteria. Outside
of the lab, Megan prefers to spend her time traveling, hiking, kayaking,
and hanging out with her dog.
